Dear Friends,
In no time at all, the general election for 2012 will be here. While growing up in Billings, we always speculated that Yellowstone County would someday be the economic hub for the state and region. Is that ever true today! Yellowstone County is home to over 150,000 people and currently has an economy that defies the national trend. We have a lot to be thankful for in these times.
I have been thankful for the support you and the residents in Yellowstone County have given me over the last few years. I know you have put your faith in me to lead and make the right decisions for the county, and I am humbled by your support.
We have been on a roller coaster ride with many challenges–a tornado, flooding, and oil spill. But we survived, became a stronger community and there is a silver lining in our story! We experienced a 2 percent growth in new construction, MetraPark is rebuilt, and the county is fiscally strong.
If you can, please take a moment and go to my contribute page and see how you can help me win re-election in 2012. Thank you again for all your past support.
Sincerely your friend,
Bill Kennedy
Yellowstone County Commissioner
